ABURY Collection
ABURY is pioneering fashion by combining traditional, old world crafts with avant garde design to create a new luxury style that fosters intercultural exchange and preserves world crafts.
ABURY brings together exciting designers with traditional artisans from remote and inspiring cultures. This exchange of knowledge between the old world and the cutting edge allows for a new context to emerge, leasing crafts a new life and lending design an emotional component which has been missing in recent times. The designer is embedded in a craft culture for roughly three months to learn and share ideas from one another and to create a collection together, bringing the best of heritage knowledge and wisdom to high design and sustainable solutions.
But the ABURY cycle goes beyond this two way relationship, caring for the whole supply chain, we give back the same number of production hours in education hours for every product sold.

Designer of new & recycled leather bags and vintage picker by trade, Erin Templeton's studio/storefront in Vancouver, BC houses a full collection of both.
erin templeton began making leather accessories in 1999, while studying shoemaking at Cordwainer's College in London, England. she continued to study leatherwork in Australia, and once home in Vancouver, BC, she began concentrating on handbags.
a vintage buyer by trade, erin always found the masses of unloved leather inspiring, as each piece is a reminder of who it once was. all designs are lovingly handmade in-house in recycled leather, imported cowhides, or a selection of exclusive and locally tanned elks and bison.
erin's fascination with the past informs designs that aim to defy trends. she uses minimal hardware and simple, strong construction, which allow people to adjust, change, and make pieces their own. it is her hope that each piece is able to be a life long friend.

Gone Rustic
Gone Rustic specialises in eco printing and dyeing (upcycled and vintage fashion, handmade accessories and textile art) by artist and owner Rita Summers.
Gone Rustic Studio and Gallery opened in 2003 in a rented building. In 2004 Rita and Ian Summers purchased a disused historical industrial building in St. Marys, Tasmania, Australia. Ian (a highschool art teacher) did most of the work of transforming the dilapidated building into a studio and gallery in his spare time over the next 18 months.
In 2012 the building was repainted inside and out in two shades of grey, with white and red trims. In 2015, new vinyl banner signs were installed, designed in collaboration with son John Summers of Black Marketing + Creative - http://www.black.marketing.
This is where Rita makes, displays and sells her own work (as well as other people’s quality handmade items), offers classes, and hosts exhibitions of local artisans and touring art displays.

Rooted in a childhood dream and whispered to awaken the creativity…Hopeless + Cause Atelier was realized in 2015.
I’m a HOPELESS fanatic of fashion. I’m a HOPELESS believer that everything happens for a reason and you should use it to drive or inspire you. And, because I’m human, I feel HOPELESS at times so I give others hope to be who they are meant to be. Life is filled with CAUSE & effect. What if there was a fashion line that supported: livable wages, eco-friendly & social-economic practices, and gave back? Now wouldn’t that be a CAUSE to get behind…and just think of that effect. Rust and Fray
We are a fashion brand that makes few-of-a-kind, handcrafted bags & other accessories from up-cycled materials sourced from factory-excess fabrics, leather, vegan leather and metal.
We set out to create a brand that makes beautiful few-of-a-kind pieces. We discovered that we could accomplish that while doing good for the environment and the society. Factories all over the world have excess materials that they dispense with that often end up in landfills. We realized we could use these and work with small entrepreneurs employing underprivileged workers and paying them fair wages while providing them with good working conditions. In the process, we could make exquisite, unique bags & fashion accessories. We are a socially responsible company and we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community. Our company strongly believes in educating the public about sustainability and promoting fashion that makes a difference in the world. Our vision is to make upcycled the cornerstone of signature styling.

Zestria
ethical apparel, handmade, recycled, up-cycled, sustainable, wearable art
Every piece is handmade or up-cycled by me. Every element in the product is eco friendly. I use only recycled materials: fabrics, lace, yarn, threads, buttons. I'm also a vintage fan so you might find vintage inspired stuff among my things.
There is no USE in buying new materials because our Earth is full of forgotten, Out of Trend materials.
I choose mostly natural fibers and/or fabric. If I choose acrylic or polyester in my up-cycling or handmade is only because I truly found a purpose for that very piece.
Every article is unique, I can't and won't duplicate.
I put a bit of my soul and my entire energy in every little thing I make... so I'm with you everywhere...
Blessings!
