Eddy & Scout is a mom-owned, kid-inspired childrenswear line that seeks to serve especially the most fussy of kids. Every piece is handmade in small batches, and special attention to details is paid. Skirts have pockets (our "Penelope Pocket skirts"), pants extend in length to grow with your child ("flourish" leggings and extendable inseam "too soft to be jeans"), Hoodies have kangaroo pockets and thumbholes ("Adventure hoodies"). All pieces are made of the softest fabrics available, sourced in the USA as much as possible, and made ethically here in California (most all of them right in our studio in Mission Viejo!!). We are crazy about recycling at Elisabethan. Since 1996, we've been committed to making exceptional garments & goodies from all the post-consumer fabric we can get our eager little mitts on. Using laundered second-hand clothing as out "yardage", we hand cut each piece using our original patterns, then combine & construct them (with obsessive attention to color and fit) into one-of-a-kind tops, skirts, dresses & accessories. Working with local women artisans in Guinea to produce our handwoven fabrics help create a positive impact to the local economies (the economies of Fatim’s homes) and employing local Los Angeles seamstress helps Fatim giveback to a country that provided her an education.

In 2008, before green was the new black, we decided we not only wanted to live greener but we actually wanted to contribute to a different way of life. Almost a decade later, we are a small team of women, sharing a vision of work and family.
